This was the first time I had ever visited Gooseberry Falls. There we were, a couple of farm girls, out to take a walk. Melanie and I started out at the souvenir shop. I just love the feel of all of those home-spun Minnesota products.

Then we hiked through the Gooseberry Falls State Park and I got some snapshots.

The waterfalls were lovely, but it was the roots that captured my attention.

Throw in a little architecture, and you've got a perfect moment.
