I think it's rather odd.
I'm not really an outdoor summer kind of person, because hard as I try, I can't seem to keep my hair from sweating and my makeup from running. It's not pretty. But spring and fall seem to work for me.

It's not really the falls that draws me there, although I like looking at it and I think it's beautiful. But I think I love it there because I get the best of a few different worlds. I get nature, I get architecture and history, and I get fed.

Sea Salt Eatery is open April-October offering a varied menu of fresh seafood.
I grew up on a farm surrounded by flat prairie and a sky that sometimes seemed way too big. It could be pretty lonely there, in spite of having eight siblings, and most of the parks we visited left me feeling lonely too. But Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis leaves me feeling nurtured, and who doesn't like that?

If you're my friend or a relative I like, I'm probably going to talk you into going there. Hear that, Cindy?

It's actually a little more fun than visiting the Lakewood Cemetery near Lake Calhoun, and you know what an amazing experience that is.

Oh, and if you visit Minnehaha Park, be sure and wear comfortable shoes.
